At Salon Sassafras we not only value products that lead the way in sustainability but also lead in performance.  This is why we are especially excited to add Olaplex to our collection of product lines.  Olaplex is the original bond builder which repairs and protects the health of the hair making it the perfect complimentary product line to Original&Mineral.

Chemical coloring works by opening the hair’s cuticle and breaking down the bonds. This happens especially when pre-lightening the hair. The lighter you go the more bonds are broken which can result in fragile and damaged hair.   When Olaplex is added to a color service it helps prevent the breakdown of those bonds and rebuilds broken ones. This way your hair can still achieve those beautiful colors and stay healthy.

We add Olaplex to your color services in the salon.  You can also book an intensive treatment alone with a blowdry and/or haircut to repair fragile hair damaged by heat drying, hot tools, and split ends. These intensive treatments are designed for all hair types.  So whether your hair is fine, thick, curly, wavy, oily, or dry this intensive treatment will help leave your hair in a healthier state than when you came in.

We also stock Olaplex No. 3 take-home treatment to compliment your personal hair routine. Olaplex No. 3 gives your hair the extra protection it needs against damage.  Use Olaplex No. 3 in combination with the O&M 3 step cleanse for best results.

1. Wash your hair with O&M’s detox shampoo to remove all buildup from the hair. Olaplex treatment) Towel dry your hair to remove all excess water and apply Olaplex No.3 treatment and leave in for at least 15 mins.

2. Wash your hair with one of O&M’s three hair type specific shampoos suitable for color treated hair.

3. Condition with one of O&M’s three hair type specific conditioners to seal the cuticle down or use O&M’s moisturizing or repairing hair masks to further treat your fragile locks.
